Savino Palumbo is a pianist from Baltimore, Maryland. He began learning music at the age of 3 in Peabody's Kindermusik program, and at the age of 5 began taking classical piano lessons. Later he received a full scholarship to study jazz at Towson University, from which he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
While at Towson, he was the recipient of numerous awards, including the prestigious Presser Scholar award. During his studies, he was also the pianist for the Towson University Big Band. Savino is also the keyboardist for Maryland-based progressive metal band Odin's Court. Currently, Savino is performing jazz at Sullivan's in Baltimore MD, as well as the Columbia Hilton in Maryland with The Fondue Four. Both locations offer good, classy atmosphere. Food and drinks are available. No cover charge. |
